The current Ikea store experience is designed in a way where the showroom is completely disconnected from the product pickup area. The lack of seamless flow makes it very challenging for the customers to find the right products they wish to purchase, leading to confusion and frustration.
The in-store companion app enables customers to create a list of products they wish to purchase. They can also view a detail description of each product, and gather information on availability and pickup location in real-time. The app empowers the users through their shopping journey, enabling them to focus on what’s important and generate customer loyalty through a pleasant shopping experience.
